Koch & Bergfeld is the only manufacturer in the world which produces a complete range of cutlery spanning the design history of silverware. You can use the "Models" button to see this for yourself. All models are crafted by our staff with great care and a love of detail at our base in the Hanseatic city of Bremen. It's our "details" that make the difference.
Our company also boasts a lengthy tradition, documented by the different hallmarks (see "Since 1829") and culminating in a catalogue with more than 15,000 different items from the Cutlery Workshop alone in the course of over 175 years.
Today, the pure lines and classical patterns are no less contemporary than when they were first created. The steady stream of orders from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for German embassies all over the world, top-class restaurants and above all from esteemed private clients, the demand for patterns going back over 170 years in some cases, are a striking testimony to this – our business relations with certain families date back as far as the 1830s and are still going strong.
